LEGAL NOTICE of
TERMINATION FROM MEDICARE PROGRAM
Effective May 3, 2019, the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services
terminated its Medicare/Medicaid agreement with National Home Health Services Inc. in
Houston, TX. This action is being taken because this Home Health agency is not in
compliance with the Conditions of Participation in the Medicare program as established by the
Social Security Act (Sections 1861(dd)), and its underlying regulations.
As a result of the non-compliance, the Medicare and Medicaid programs will not pay for
home health services that National Home Health Services Inc. furnishes to patients who are
admitted on or after May 3, 2019. However, payment may be available for up to 30 days
after the effective date of termination for home health services furnished to patients under a
plan of care established before May 3, 2019.
