Application Requirements
2024-2025 CSS Profile
• Available October 1, 2023
• Vassar School Code 2956
• If student’s parents are divorced, separated or never married and live separately, both the
custodial parent and the noncustodial parent will each need to complete their own CSS profile
• Vassar does NOT provide fee waiver codes nor do we accept the paper College Board
International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA) as an alternative to the CSS Profile
Submit tax documents to College Board IDOC (Institutional Documentation Service)
Once your CSS profile is completed and processed, you will receive an email with instructions for
the IDOC process. Submit the following items:
• Parent Income Tax Returns – for the most recent year that was filed for your country.
Translated to English (if applicable). If parents live within the US, submit 2022 Federal Tax
return including all pages and schedules.
• Statement of Earnings - from parent employer(s) indicating current annual wages, bonuses,
and benefits (i.e. housing, automobile, education allowances, etc.) The statement should
indicate if the income is gross income (before taxes, in which case we need to also know the
taxes paid) or net after taxes
• International Business/Farm Supplement – if parents have a business, partnership and/or farm
• Certification of Finances
How can I track the status of my financial aid application?
Prospective students/applicants can view which documents have/haven’t been received via the Vassar
Admission Applicant Portal. Please do not rely on IDOC’s Document Management Portal for this
information as it may not reflect a complete list of application requirements.
