The test must have been completed within two years of the start of your programme at BPP
University and all results must be issued on the same certificate.
3. Achieving the relevant score in a recognised Pre-Sessional English programme. The final
assessment must have been completed within two years of the start of your programme at
BPP University and 4 skill scores must be issued on the same certificate.
4. If you have completed a degree as a resident taught in the UK or a majority English speaking
country under Appendix 1. The date of issue for the degree certificate must be within five years
of the start date of the programme at BPP University.
5. Proof of a UK degree delivered as a distance course or taught overseas, delivered and
examined in English, in addition to achieving the required speaking score in BPP’s ELT as listed
in Appendix 2. The date of issue for the degree certificate must be within five years of the start
date of the programme at BPP University.
6. If you have studied at one of the institutions listed on BPP’s medium of instruction vouch list
under Appendix 3. The date of issue for the degree certificate must be within five years of the

7. If you have one of the home country qualifications listed in Appendix 4. The date of issue for
the qualification must be within ten years of the start date of the programme at BPP University
unless otherwise stated in Appendix 4.
If the evidence from methods 2-7 exceeds the validity period, applicants can take the BPP ELT to
evidence their English proficiency.
