ENTRY TEST (Model Paper)
BS Economics /BS Economics & Finance
INSTRUCTIONS
1. The duration of the test is 60 Minutes (1 Hours).
2. Write your Roll Number on each page of the answer sheet.
3. This test has three Sections “A”, “B” and “C”
4. A candidate has to score minimum 50% marks in aggregate to pass the test.
5. After completion of the test, you have to return question paper & answer sheet both to the
invigilators.
6. Calculators & mathematical tables are not allowed.
7. Answers to all sections are to be attempted on answer sheets, which are being provided
separately with the question papers.
8. Make sure that you do not write or mark anything on the question paper otherwise this will lead to
cancellation of your paper.
9. You have to make a choice of one answer out of four whatever is correct in your point of view.
Make a circle around the right answer only on your answer sheet.
SECTION – A (Mathematics)
Total Marks = 30 (1.5 Marks each)
1. A man bought a flat for Rs. 8,20,000. He borrowed 55% of this money from a bank. How
much money did he borrow from the bank?

3. 10 men can construct a building in 40 days. How long will it take 20 men to do this
work?
4. Four boys decided to put their money together to buy a present for a friend, three of
them gave Rs. 40 each while the fourth gave Rs. 30 more than the average of all. How
much did the fourth boy give?
