type, e.g. Dual or Transfer.

Note: Only select Community Fire Unit (CFU) if you
wish to operate a CFU trailer in your local street until
reghters arrive on the scene.

unsure, use the link in the application form to nd
your local brigades.

If you are transferring from another brigade, please
select the brigade from which you
are transferring.

advocating for volunteers of the NSW RFS. Tick this
option if you are interested in being a RFSA member.

Your application is all done! You will receive an e-mail
conrming receipt of the application. You will be
contacted by a member of the brigade you have applied
for, to arrange an interview.

Click on ‘Create a prole’.

Enter your details, i.e. your name,
date of birth, phone number, etc.
If you have been a previous member with
the NSW RFS, please indicate this and provide us
with all the details you can.

Click ‘Create prole and start applying’.
You will be forwarded a verication email.
Follow the steps in the e-mail to create your prole.

Enter your One RFS login
credentials, e.g. JohnDoe1,
followed by your password.

Select ‘Forgot my password
if required, you will need your RFS
network username or volunteer number
to re-set your password.

START BY
You will need:






Volunteers 15 years old or under will have a restricted
junior membership and will not require a police check.
Volunteers 16 or 17 years old will have the choice of
junior or ordinary membership, subject to parent or
guardian consent, and will be required to complete a
police check.
You will need to transfer your membership from junior
to ordinary.
Use the ‘Current RFS Member’ QR code to start your
application, selecting the transfer application option.
If you would like to remain with your current brigade,
select them as the brigade you would like to transfer to.
For example transfer from ‘Davidson’ to ‘Davidson’.
You will be required to complete a police check as part
of your application.
