Amtrak now offers a free and easy way to request duplicate receipts online through
Amtrak.com. This new service provides business travels the ability to request duplicate
receipts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no fee.
To request a duplicate receipt go to Amtrak.com and follow these steps.
1. Click "Contact us" on the lower left side of the home page. A new screen
appears
2. Click "Email us" from the middle of that screen. A form appears.
3. On the "Subject" line of the form, click the right arrow to display the drop-down
menu.
4. Click "Duplicate Receipt Request" from that drop-down menu. New fields will
appear in the form.
5. Complete the rest of the form. All starred items are required. Please have the
following information to make your request:

First and Last Name
•
Email Address
•
Reservation Number
•
Passenger Name
•
Date of Travel
•
Train Numbers, Origin Station, Destination Station and Customer’s Message
6. Click "Send" to submit the request. The duplicate receipt will be emailed to
the customer within a few days of the request being submitted.
7. When requesting a duplicate receipt for more than one reservation, you must
complete a separate request form for each reservation.
