How To Print from a Chromebook
MOST MODERN PRINTERS THAT CAN CONNECT TO A WIRELESS NETWORK CAN PRINT DIRECTLY FROM
A CHROMEBOOK.
WiFi printers that feature “Google Cloud Print” are 100% compatible with Chromebooks.
Please refer to your printer manufacturers support website as the best resource for Chromebook
compatibility questions with your printer.
(UCPS Preferred method) UCPS student Chromebooks are configured to automatically save all
documents to their Google Drive account. That same student Google Drive account can be
accessed from any device using their UCPS student login credentials. Students can then print
documents from that device which is already connected to a printer.
1. Save file to your Google Drive (student default save location)
2. Go to another device that is connected to a Printer.
a. Open internet browser; Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc.
b. Go to drive.google.com.
c. Log into your Google account with your UCPS username and password.

d. Double-click a file.
e. Choose FILE-PRINT.
