According to the USA Immigration, all ESTA eligible passengers who visited Cuba from
January 12th, 2021 cannot travel to the United States with the ESTA but have to apply
for a US VISA via Embassy/Consulate. This travel restriction also refers to all those with
dual citizenship of a VWP country and Cuba at the time they apply for ESTA.
STRICT CONTROL WILL BE PERFORMED UPON ARRIVAL IN THE UNITED
STATES
Passengers who have visited the island before 12th January 2021 are not affected by this
measure.
All other ports of cruise: No other Visa required.
Residence Permit under renewal are not considered valid.

PLEASE NOTE: Effective August 1st, 2023, the ESTA validity period for travel
to Hungarian passport holders is reduced to one year and for a single use
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Following latest guidelines coming from the US
authorities, at the ship embarkation Hungarian passport holders will be
required to present the application for a new ESTA until further notice. In case
it won’t be issued for any reasons, the pax will be required to sign a Break of
Voyage in order to be disembarked before the return in USA, otherwise they
could be denied to embark. Guests holding a USA B1/B2 Visa won't be affected
by any restriction.
The requirement will be valid until further notice.

If DHS denies ESTA for a traveler, guests should apply for a B1B2 visa.
Likewise, applicants who have travelled to Afghanistan, Cuba, North Korea,
Syria, Iran, Nicaragua and Venezuela, and would therefore not be eligible
for ESTA should apply for a B1/B2 visa.
Please be aware that current wait times for B1/B2 processing are long: B1/B2
applicants are encouraged to apply at least six months prior to expected travel.
