Exam Registration Process
There are no final filing dates for new or re-exam applicants. Applications are
accepted by the Board on a continuous basis. Approved applicants will receive an
Authorization to Test (ATT) via email with instructions on
how to register for the
exam with Prometric. For discipline specific information view the applicable
Licensure Application Process link.
Initial Applications: Applications are accepted on a continuous filing basis. There is no final filing date. A complete application
that is submitted less than 100 days prior to the date of the exam will not be considered for that exam; it will be considered for a
subsequent exam. A complete PG application is defined as an application that includes a minimum of three (3) references with a
response from each professional reference, all relevant transcripts, a passing score on the Laws and Rules exam, and verification
of ASBOG exams passed outside of California (if applicable). GIT applicants do not submit transcripts or references with their
application; however, GIT applicants are also encouraged to submit their application 100 days in advance of the scheduled
exam date to ensure they can sit for that exam. For complete instructions view Application and Examination Information.
Re-taking the Exam: Visit Re-Examination Information and Application and Examination Information.
