Requests for Arranged Testing

Requirements: Examinees who do not have
access to a test center within 75 miles of
their home for the full testing year (Sep–Jul)
may request Arranged testing with approved
testing staff. See Eligibility Policy below for
more information.
Eligibility Policy
ACT reviews Arranged testing requests only for
more of the following conditions:
• Religious faith: The examinee’s religious
75 miles of the examinee’s home for any test
date during the full testing year (Sep–Jul).
• Distant test center: There is no test center
scheduled within 75 miles of the examinee’s
home for any test date during the full
testing year (Sep–Jul).
• Incarceration:

Note: These are the only conditions ACT will
consider for Arranged testing applicants.

The Request for ACT Arranged Testing form
appears on pages 5–8 of this document. The
information in that form provides the basis of
the ACT decision whether or not to approve the
request.
Deadlines

Conditions”) are a legal agreement between
the person who will take the A C T test (“you”)
and ACT Education Corp. (“ACT”). They set out
important rules and policies relating to your
taking the A C T test, including those relating
to test security. By registering for, launching,
starting, or submitting answer documents for
an A C T test (“test”), you are agreeing to these
Terms and Conditions. All references to “test” or
“tests” in these Terms and Conditions refer to the
A C T test and test-related documents in paper
or electronic form, including test booklets, test
questions, test responses, and responses marked
on answer documents.
